Main responsibilities and professional achievements: 2020 – 2021

− Led the closing of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in four different billion-dollar projects. I-35 Northeast Expansion Central Project (2.1 B USD). I-495 & I-270 P3 Program. (9.2 B USD). Southeast Connector (2 B USD). I35E-Phase 2 (600 M USD).

− Led of Technical Meeting presenting the design and alternatives to the appropriate State Department of Transportation. Developed the design optimizations of the project and Alternative Design Concepts (ATC) to be presented to each Authority

(optimizations of more than 5 M USD).

− Evaluated the consultant’s design and communicated with them in a daily basis to solve the issues encountered and provide further criteria. Day to Day point of contact for technical issues, optimization, and alternatives for projects in phase of proposal (RFP) around the USA.

− Obtained numerous licenses and tests on my own for the approval and exercise of the design of civil works (FE, Open Roads Designer, GMAT…) combining work with continuing education and training. Associate Project Manager Waco, TX. USA

Roadway and Structure Team. Project: IH 35 – McLennan County Project. ($341 million). 2019 - 2020 Main responsibilities and professional achievements:

− Progressed starting from supervising a 20 M USD budget (lime and asphalt operations) together with my manager and ending being solely responsible for a budget of approximately 120 M USD (lime, asphalt, paving and concrete plants) leading their corresponding teams.

− Managed multiple and diverse teams (50+ people) coordinating very complex operations such as paving: field crew, trucking, closing traffic lines with client's permission (Texas Department of Transportation) and concrete plants. Great effort and dedication managing night and day operations by myself with no breaks.

− Elaborated of a live and online schedule that allowed the coordination of the multiple live agents involved in the paving operation and that was extrapolated to other projects of the company.

− Daily tracking of production, revenues and costs, preparation of reports on deviations in labor, equipment, material and trucking for a budget of 120 M USD. Created an innovative template combining all these results and deviations automatically.

− Responsible for the implementation of the new HCSS Heavy Job software in order to improve the processes and activities between the field and the office.
