Honors College-- University of Vermont 2017-2021

● Obtained a BA in biology with minors in chemistry and history with 3.44 GPA

● Graduated as honors student with undergraduate thesis in bioinformatics

● Inducted into Phi Alpha Theta, a national history honor society Work Experience

Springs Family YMCA 2019-present

● Worked as a lifeguard overseeing several pools at the local YMCA. Also provided primary medical support for the whole facility. Took on leadership responsibilities after a year of work, supervising and assisting other guards in their responsibilities. Melody Pines Day Camp 2013-2017

● Started as CIT at summer camp. Took on larger and larger leadership responsibilities until was leading an entire group of campers in activities throughout the day. Research Experience

● Advanced Genetics and Proteomics class --2019-- Studied neural development under Dr. Bryan Ballif. Obtained experience with common lab techniques such as SDS-Page gel and western blot. Wrote academic paper along with other students to be submitted to peer-reviewed journals describing work.

Human Subjects

● Research Assistant at Dell Children’s Hospital --2018-- administered quality of care surveys to families of patients.

● Emergency Medical Research Associates’ Program --2018-2019-- Shadowed various people within the emergency department at the UVM Medical Center. Also assisted with and eventually supervised others in screening and consenting participants for research. Eagle Scout 2011-2017

● Served in many leadership roles leading different numbers and ages of boys in camping and outdoor skill building. Also attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Was inducted into the Order of the Arrow, scouting’s honor society
