Camp Canadensis

Two summers spent working at Camp Canadensis as a counselor. First as a general counselor, then as a lifeguard:

- Look after and care for the general needs of the children in the bunk and other bunk’s of the same age

- Create and lead programs for kids aged from 12-16

- produce songs for the camp

- Design and build a set sturdy enough to sit on

- Adapt to care for the specific needs of campers with special needs

- perform the general duties of a lifeguard and maintenance at the pools or lake Mixdown Studio

Three month internship with the Head Sound Engineer at Mixdown Studios in Yonkers, NY:

- Work with musicians in studio recording and editing their takes through Adobe Pro Tools

- Edit and mix together both the raw recording of musicians and produced beats

- Help create a comprehensive list of marketing opportunities for the studio’s products and services

- Create and manage various social media profiles

- Write and edit the text contents of their websites which included product/service descriptions, marketing, and the commonly asked questions or information

NFTY NAR

Full year internship as Membership Vice President for North American Federation of Temple Youth - New York Area Region:

- Visit temples in to recruit high school kids for NFTY Events

- Write and run programs both for NFTY members at NFTY Events and for prospective members ran at their temples

- Cold call to recruit for NFTY Events and train others to cold call

- Setup the infrastructures for general events

Life Guarding

2 semesters at the Sumers Rec Center as a Lifeguard

- Test the safety of the facility upon opening and perform general lifeguard duties

- Handle the immediate customer service of those at the pool, problems both life threatening and not, that arise Skills and Interests

- forms of writing: non-fiction: (personal, academic, and articles like op eds), fiction, short stories, screenplays, songs, copywriting, social media

- Competent with: adobe photo shop, pro tools, ableton live, excel

- Loves to play guitar, ski, and cook
