Basement Producers Toolkit 2021

Creation of a web tool in order to help musicians visualize what a chord needs to look like to translate that into playing a midi keyboard. One side of the tool has the ability to select 4 chords from dropdown lists and play through the progression. This visualization can help musicians lock the progressions into their muscle memory faster than without. It also has a tool to select a song from a list of 100 top songs scraped from a separate website and then loads those chords into the visualization. The second part of the tool is a chord prediction tool, though music is a creative medium there are rules and patterns that can help architect a quality song. Through using a neural network and just under 9000 chord progressions from popular songs, this tool can take in the first three chords in a progression and suggest options for a fourth to follow it.
