Academic Final year project details

Title: Leaf Disease Detection using Image processing.

Description: The purpose of this Project is to identify the Disease and the stages.This study found that

Plants are affected by a wide range of diseases whose identification and treatment is essential.By applying

an image processing techniques like image enhancement and feature extraction we can extract the required

information to analyze the type and severity of the disease. The obtained information when fed to a

classifier like Support Vector machine (SVM), the plant can be classified to be affected by a certain disease

or not. And finally determined the stages of the disease (infant or mid or terminal).so that the farmers could

take an necessary precautions in order to avoid crop loss in Agriculture.

Role: In this Project, my role was collecting the different diseased leaves along with collecting information

from villagers.
