INTRO

I'm David Govea I have recently found out about your posting and i'm very

interested in the job. I am willing to work hard to meet my goals and the

companies expectations as well. I am a quick learner that enjoys working in

a fast pace environment. Anything I commit to I take serious and take the

time to learn the job correctly. I'm hoping with hard work i can move up in

this career.

EXPERIENCE

Ranch Hand, Shaw Farms, 2013-2015

As aranch hand my duties were to build barb wire fence. Pruning fruit trees,

thinning fruit, and harvesting the fruit. Prepping the field for plantation that

included picking weeds, picking rocks from field to prevent equipment

As a kitchen lead I was in charge of 20 cooks making sure our daily goals

were always met safely and proficiently. I would conduct pre job safety

meetings letting my co- workers know of our daily goal and any hazards that

we need to be aware of. Daily kettle, Hobart mixers, and vacuum kettle

inspections were done and recorded daily to make sure our product came out

good. Lifting heavy buckets and 40 Ib bowls filled with candy was part of my

daily routine as well as loading our steam kettles. A product inventory was

done every other day to make sure we had enough candy to complete our

order for the week. As kitchen lead I had to make sure everyone was wearing

their PPE which included hard hat, sleeves safety glasses, face shield and

heat resistant gloves. Keeping work area clean was very important specially if

it was the kitchen. Area was cleaned every 3 hrs to prevent any hazards. Lock

Out Tag Out process was utilized when equipment needed repair. I verified

that all the proper breakers or equipment were properly locked and verified

all energy sources were isolated. Fast pace environment requiring to be

standing 12 hr shift. After job meeting were held to discuss if goal was met,

and anything that we could of done to improve our productivity.

OEE(Overall Equipment Effectiveness) log was filed daily after shift rating

equipment on quality control, asset availability and how well the system

performed.
