TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Dedicated to bringing a multicultural mindset, creating a strong rapport with students and academic excellence to the classroom. By combining cultural studies, analytical tools and historical perspective, literature becomes a relevant and compelling force. Teaching students how to communicate about literary works, understanding how literature fits into our larger cultural landscape and how fiction enriches our lives.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Teacher – Alexander Muss High School in Israel, Hod HaSharon, Israel (2015 – 2020). Create syllabus and teach AP US Government and AP European History. Teach essay writing and reading comprehension.
Private Tutor – Tel Aviv, Israel (2010 -- Present). Tutor BA and MA students from the fields of political science, communications, psychologyand business in academic reading analysis, research methodology, time management, and the development of core writing skills, including outlining and grammar.
Teacher’s Assistant – IDC Herzliya, Herzliya, Israel (2011 – 2014). Introduction to International Relations course; provide guidance for paper writing and clarifying class material, correct exams and papers. Provide assistance to professor to find articles for syllabus and write slides for class.
