This job gave me sufficient experience is customer service, as I was primarily responsible for making sure the players were having a sufficient experience. I'd arrive beforehand to set everything up, and then spend a majority of the tournament itself working out front-desk set up. This is where customers would come to sign and receive anything they might need throughout the tournament. Along with manning the front desk, I would observe playing to make sure disagreements were settles and everyone was having a good time. I did this once a month, with a percentage of the proceeds supporting college scholarships.
