●Plan, implement and control the project ensuring the project will be completed on time, within the budget and delivered to the highest level of delivery standards

●Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project

●Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities and resources needed to successfully complete the project

●Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required

Manages the operations of the hotel’s engineering department with continuous focus on preventive maintenance program, energy consumption control and management, budget preparation and manpower control, risk management and environmental charter. Supervise the implementation of all property and equipment preventive maintenance and repairs, monitor life safety systems and utilities and administer the department in compliance with all corporate standards and local/national codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and associates. Effectively manage engineering related capital projects. Responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems and it’s equipment, and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, Fixture, Furniture and Equipment (FF&E), grounds, swimming, pool, etc. Knowledgeable on all building related systems -- Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Life Safety, IT, etc.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, oversee the hotel’s engineering operations including the physical building structure, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs. The position is also responsible for the safety and security of guests and associates of the Hotel, especially in relation to Fire & Life Safety, Evacuation and Security issues. Ensure full compliance with Hotel policies and procedures and local legislation while meeting key stakeholders’ expectations.

As a senior management team member, I plays a strategic role in driving the hotel’s business goals and associates satisfaction. Develop and implement preventive maintenance program for the hotel and guest rooms as well as budgeting.
