● Repair and maintenance activities undertaken by the electrical department.

● Repair works on electrical and electronic appliances including but not limited to electrical machines and lighting systems (metal halide, mercury vapor, compact fluorescent, filament and LED)

● Capturing hot-spots by means of thermo cameras and correction of hot-spots.

● Measurement of earthing, voltage level of transformers.

● Fault diagnosis and repairs including broken conductors, fuses and cut-outs.

● Wayleaves clearance along feeders, fuse changing and installation of carriers.

● Training in safety procedures/precautions taken before undertaking the outages.

● Line inspection on rotten poles and their replacement.

● Erection of poles, meter reading and installation. Skills

● Basic proficiency with op-amps (operational amplifiers)
