I currently hold the position of Delivery Driver. I drive 53-foot/48-foot van trailer and tanker trailers. As a part of my job responsibilities, I deliver bulk which most times require drop and hook. I am choosing to leave this position because the company has elected to sell. As a result of this, I would further like the opportunity to continue my career in the truck driving industry while growing my abilities in a stable work environment. At Columbus Lumber, I held the position as Yard Supervisor. With this position, I made sure that all lumber was being properly treated. This job was a great opportunity for me because it allowed me the chance to gain more knowledge on how lumber should be taken care of in order to ensure durability. At Air Cruisers, I held the position of Production Lead. Prior to this position, I was a Machine Operator. I was a trained Packer and Cutter. This position aided me in learning to supervise others. I chose to leave this position because my opportunity for advancement was limited.

During my time at Nissan North America, I held the position of Production Technician where I installed parts onto automobiles on an assembly line. Later, I became an Off-line Repairman. This position enabled me to fix defects and change out parts on a product. I decided to leave this job because the strain of the 100 mile commute began to weigh heavily on me. In 1997, I worked inside the Planner Mill on the Round Table at Weyerhauser. I then moved to the Pull-Chain where I held the position of "Part-time Breakout Man." In 1998, I moved to the Shipping Department and began to load and tie down railcars. I also loaded the flatbed trucks with a forklift.
