As a SQL Server Database administrator for 5 years now, my experiences has been in the installation, configuration and Upgrades of SQL servers following Microsoft best practices. Worked with different versions of SQL servers ranging from SQL Server 2008 through 2019 where I did upgrades and patches from lower to higher versions, backups/restores, setting up maintenance plans for certain administrative jobs, performance monitoring and optimization, ensuring system availability, security management, and troubleshooting. Set up and manage High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions in my environment for mission critical databases. My real strength is my ability to understand what is expected of me in my environment and as an excellent team player, this has helped me a great deal in achieving my daily goals. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Position: SQL Server DBA

Company: RIDE AIDE DISTRIBUTION CENTER, Aberdeen, Maryland, USA Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage Microsoft's Windows Server 2008/2019, Windows Clustering on a spanned VLAN, SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016/2019, demonstrating how these technologies may be leveraged to impact the architecture's overall design, security, availability and stability.

• Install and configure SQL Server, including setup of security, SQL Auditing, SQL mail, certificates, service accounts, and maintenance plans.

• Extensive experience in maintaining High Availability using Always On Availability Group, Database Mirroring, Replication, Traditional Failover Clustering and Log Shipping capabilities of MS to provide robust database solutions.

• Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, client/server connectivity, and database consistency checks using DBCC utilities.

• Extensive experience with SQL Server and T-SQL in constructing triggers, tables, user functions, views, indexes, user profiles, relational database models and data integrity.
