Description :

The NxStage Connected Health System is for use by chronic hemodialysis patients remotely in combination with the NxStage System One Cycler upon the prescription of a licensed physician or healthcare practitioner. The Nx2me Clinician Portal product is a web-based application that provides a central NxStage portal to access other patient and treatment data. It reads patient flowsheets generated by the Nx2me app securely. It allows the center to send updated patient settings to the Nx2me app iPad.

Responsibilities:

Performed Functional, Integration, Regression, Negative and System Testing.

Migration Testing.

Executing test cases and preparing daily execution report.

Defect logging and tracking.

Reviewing of test cases prepared by peers.

Project 2: Connected Health Program (Nx2me app and System One Cycler)

Description :

Nx2me App:

The Nx2me application is an iOS application accessory to the NxStage System One. Its target users are home dialysis Patients and their Care Partners. Decreasing the burden of manual flowsheet data entry and automating flowsheet transmission to NxStage servers.

Nx2me receives cycler data stream over a Wi-Fi connection and communicates with the Nx2me Clinician Portal services over the internet. To further improve the patient’s experience, the application includes an electronic copy of the User Guide with support for keyword search and easy to use navigation. System One Cycler: (Electro Mechanical Device)

The NxStage System One consists of the NxStage Cycler (machine) and the NxStage Cartridge (disposable). Cycler is able to perform a variety of renal therapies as required by the health care provider.

The Cycler removes waste fluid (effluent) from the patient containing urea and other toxins and replaces the fluid with sterile solution. This Therapy Replacement Fluid (RF) acts to maintain the patient’s electrolyte balance and pH balance.

Responsibilities:

Executed Manual test cases for newly implemented features.

Testing the product based on user level scenarios along with requirement testing.

Prepared the Test Cases by covering the entire product functionality

Updating the test cases to the latest enhancements/requirements of the tool
