ACADEMIC PROJECT PROFILE

1. Main project (Diploma)

Project Title: “Automatic switching and efficient energy saving".

Description: This project is designed by an intelligent Auto switching & efficient energy saving,

AVR Microcontroller offer more features. So that it can allow adding more applications related to Auto

switching. So we can Enhanced the project by designing LDR, Entry sensor & Exit sensors, it will

count number of person entry & exit through the door, this IR sensor detects for short distance(from

1cm to 10cm).The light intensity sensor it senses the day & night, it will switch off & on the ac devices

based on number of person entry & exit. When the person enter 1-5 then the one ac device will on,

when the person enter 5-10 then 2nd ac device will on, This on & off condition will work based on dark

& night.

This project is done as the part of BTE curriculum in 6thsemester of diploma.

2. Main project (BE)

Project Title: "Automated power factor correction".

Description: By connecting the capacitors in series the power factor of the induction motor will be

improved and also get corrected automatically.

This project is done as the part of vtu curriculum in 8thsemester of engineering.

Team size: 4 Duration:2 months

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

Title: Attended internship training at "KPCL" in Bangalore.

Description: it was a great opportunity for me to do one month internship in kpcl. The internship was

concentrated on solar energy and solar cells working on megawatt design, I learned and gained

knowledge on different types of solar cells used in different filed for the same purpose.

Extra-curricular activities : Attended two days of training in National Power Training Institute (NPTI)

about Hot Lines Transmission and changing insulators on live conductor carrying high voltage.
