• Worked on research-based Internship, the objective was to examine the Contractual problems in the projects that are faced by the Contractor due to Suspension of work and Termination of work & studying its impact with reference to FIDIC RED BOOK Clauses. Learning Outcome:

• The FIDIC contract for Residential and Commercial Projects is to be terminated when the project cost increases 15-20% as per the responses.

• The FIDIC contract for Infrastructure Projects is to be terminated when the project cost increases 20-25% as per the responses.

• At the start of construction, the rates of same manufacturing material are increased by which there will be access rise in cost of the project.

Position: Site Supervisor.

Roles: Deputed to look after RCC framework of water tank of 3000 liters and learnt about the reinforcement check done before concreting. The concrete grade used was M-20 with a volumetric proportion of 1:10:12. And also observed plastering & finishing work of 8 storey hospital building. The plaster coated was in a single coat, which is not correct theoretically it should be in 3 coats with an interval of 24 hours.
