Blogger at Wordpress and Blogger

January 2015 — December 2017

I used to be a blogger on Blogger and Wordpress. I discussed about entertainment news and give reviews on certain media. I did not work for any company, I created it by myself. I followed and researched before posting any blog. I needed to make sure that everything was factually correct. Anything that was important in the world of media got covered. Music, movies, television, global news, books, and video games were the topics I wrote blogs about. For the reviews, I reviewed books, movies, and music. Whether if it’s the latest albums or films, I had a lot to say about it. I made say each review was well-detailed and informative. The blogging sites are obsolete, but I still discuss about media and review entertainment.

Short story writer

November 2019 — May 2021

I wrote a lot of short stories. Here are some examples:

“The blind eye killings”

On August 7th, 2008, a group of elementary students went on a field trip to explore the zoo.

Each child had to beg and persuade their parents to sign the permission slips. The majority of the parents allowed their children to go, while some didn’t feel like it was safe. So those who didn’t got their permission slips written had to write about what their favorite animals are and why they are important to the world.

On the day of the trip, everything seemed normal. The students got to explore all the different and unique animals like Pandas, Lions, Parrots, Monkeys, and many more. They even gotten special treats like souvenirs, candy, and take pictures with the animals.

But this fun day for the kids turned nightmarish when a guy pretending to be blind and helpless shot up most of the children, workers, adults, and some animals.

Luckily, the police were nearby and heard all the commotion. But they were too late, because eight children died with nine of them injured. Two workers lost their lives, five adults got injured, three lions and one monkey were killed.

The police did detain him and he got sentenced life in prison. But the lives of the survivors and the families of the deceased were changed forever.

Three weeks later after the incident, the county held a large funeral for the victims. All of the survivors and their families came.

So many tears, fears, hate, love, forgiveness, and prayers happened. There were testimonies made by the pastor of the church, members of the local NRA members, survivors, friends of the deceased, and family members.

The testimonies from the family members had people crying the most. There was one mother that shattered everyone’s heart.

This was her testimony: “The worst fear for any mother is seeing their children die before they pass away themselves. Mine and so many mothers in this building fears came to reality. I can’t speak for all mothers, since they are grieving in their own ways. But the murder of my daughter made me severely depressed. I never really get depressed because I trust in God and I know there’s always hope. But when I got the news that my daughter was murdered, I had dark thoughts and I didn’t want to do anything. What type of monster would pretend to be blind and murder children, animals, and people who got lives to live? I’m so glad that he is in prison, but that won’t bring my daughter back. My daughter was seven years of age and she had so much life to live. She told me she wanted to be veterinarian. She loves animals so much that my husband and I have one dog, one cat, one bird, and one goldfish in our house. She took care of those animals like they were her babies. We supported her no matter what and we knew she was going to be successful. But we have to wait until the next life to find that out. It’s heartbreaking that she perished in a place full of animals. My message to my daughter is wherever you are, I still love you. I will always be proud of you and the lord will forever be by your side.”

The funeral ended late at night, since a lot of people had testimonies and after that, refreshments were given to everyone. Despite all the tears and pain, everyone came together to support one another during these harsh times. The blind eye killer did make a lot of people and animals see the light, but society never lost sight of unity and what makes the world bright.

“The Hungry Ones”

Making it, Hollywood is not as glamorous as most people think it is. My wife and I spent our whole lives trying to get famous. For the most part, we were cast in minor TV roles and extras in movies.

That gave us enough money to buy an affordable house, get married, and support our four children.

Emmanuel is the oldest, and he can sing, Chrissy can dance, Steve loves to cook, and Jacob is a cute baby boy. We made sure that our children got the best education to perfect their skills.

But while my wife and I were trying to give our kids a better future, our acting careers started to dwindle. Since the virus hit Hollywood, all of the TV and movie productions closed. It was difficult finding auditions and scripts to read.

The money we were making started to weaken, and we couldn’t afford to pay off our bills. Living in California is expensive, and the house we were living in cost $10,000. It didn’t help that we had to also pay for child support and the schools they were attending.

It broke our hearts when we had to let them know we would be living on the streets, and their education had to be put on hold. So many tears were shed, and our hopes got shattered.

We lived on the streets for six months, and it felt like hell. There were days we had little food to eat or none at all. We stunk every day, and we had to rely on the rain for a shower. Everyone’s physical and mental health was terrible. There were many arguments and fights; it almost ruined the relationship with my wife and kids. It didn’t help that there was a virus going on and we had to use our clothes for masks.

The only thing keeping us together is our faith in God. We prayed every day for our lives to get better. One day, our prayers were answered.

We saw a flyer saying that there’s going to be an audition for an upcoming streaming movie. The movie is called “The Hungry Ones.” It’s about a struggling family trying to make it in Hollywood. They allowed families or anyone to audition.

The audition location was far, and we had to walk on foot since we lost our cars and had no money for transportation. But we had to do what we can to make it to the audition and change our lives.

The audition took place for ten days, and it was spread out to keep people safe from the virus. We gave our submissions on the sixth day. The director, writer, and producers were impressed by our performances. But we had to wait until all the auditions were over.

We were anxious and scared because this was our only shot of getting out of poverty. We prayed nonstop, hoping that God gives us a miracle.

After the auditions were over, the film producers gave us a call and told us that we got the main parts.

All the minor roles, struggles, arguments, poverty, and prayers were all worth this moment. We will make sure that we don’t go back to the old lifestyle we were living. We’ll continue to strive and live a good life.
