Senior Drilling Engineer, DNO International, Dubai. Mar 2015 – Jun 2020 Staff Snr Drilling Engineer with Norwegian Oil Company DNO reporting directly to the Drilling Manager in the Dubai office. Worked on exploration, appraisal and development wells onshore Kurdistan, Northern Iraq. Most recent responsibility was planning and executing all the UBD wells drilled in DNO’s Tawke Field.

Operations Drilling Engineer, DNO International, Iraq. Sep 2013 – Mar 2015 Operations Drilling Engineer working a 4 week on/off out of the Erbil office in Kurdistan. Overall responsibilities:

• Prepared Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents, Contract Strategy documents and conducted Technical

& Commercial evaluations.

• Contract Holder for a variety of Service Contracts, managing vendor performance (HSE & operational) and Contract spend limits.

• Conducted offset analysis, risk and hazard management, casing design, torque/drag and hydraulics analyses, bit and BHA selection, drilling fluids design, cementing design, wellhead configuration design, etc for inclusion into drilling programs and subsequent detailed section drilling procedures

• Prepared well AFEs and tracked daily operational progress including updating Drilling Time & Cost curves, identifying KPIs, etc.

• Provided engineering input into daily operations ensuring full compliance with DNO’s HSEQ policies and Norsok standards.

• Evaluated and recommended new equipment and technologies for utilization in well programs.

• Responsible for cost control and compiled operational & cost data of wells for benchmarking analysis.

• Documented all well design changes using the Management of Change (MOC) process and issued Non- Conformance Reports when required.

• Maintained lessons learned, best practices databases and prepared End of Well Reports.

• Deputized for the Drilling Superintendent as and when required.

• Assisted the Senior Drilling Engineer with the preparation of Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents and Tender Evaluations.

• Prepared Design Rationale Documents, Casing Design, AFEs, Risk Assessments, Equipment selection etc in accordance with AGR’s Well Delivery Process during the planning phase of the well.

• Worked as an Operations Drilling Engineer on a 3 week on/off rotation reporting to the Drilling Superintendent.

• Prepared time and cost vs. depth curves and updated weekly reports. Senior Casing Drilling Engineer, Tesco Corporation. Oct 2007 – Jun 2012 Senior Drilling Engineer working on Casing Drilling applications for several Operators offshore North Sea and on/offshore in the Middle East.

Responsibilities:

• Prepared Casing Drilling Programs, Feasibility studies and EOWRs for the implementation of CASING DRILLING™ operations.

• Torque/drag modeling, hydraulics, stress modeling using Tesco’s CASING DRILLING™ Engineering software.

Well Engineer, ADTI (Global SantaFe Drilling UK). Sep 2002 – Aug 2005 Well Planning Engineer and Cost Coordinator assisting a Senior Drilling Engineer and Operations Engineer in the Aberdeen office.
