As Design Engineer Jul 2017-Present

Having 3 years and 10 months of experience in PCMT, an ISO 9001-2008 certified leading design and manufacturer of Special Purpose Machines (SPM) & Material handling equipment with the following responsibilities.

To complete the design of all the components as per the customer specifications and design requirements such as:

a. Evaluates mechanical systems and products by designing, perform analytical calculations, prototyping and validation of new concepts. b. Designs parts, components and assemblies to meet requirements of assigned projects.

c. Plan and coordinate special projects, including design and fabrication of production equipment (automated and semi-automated assembly and secondary machines, etc.), material selection and tooling requirements d. Collaborate with Quality and Process Engineers, and other departments to obtain necessary requirements for writing detailed scopes for the procurement of new equipment.

e. Assures system and product quality by designing test methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.

f. Creates CAD models, including part and assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing, testing and assembly, and support components to assist with assembly.

g. Provides technical and engineering support for day-to-day processing, product development and process improvements

h. Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties

i. Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and system capabilities, and confirming fabrication, assembly and installation processes

j. Generate engineering documents: specifications, schematics, BOM, validation reports, schedules etc.

k. Follow established procedures and best practices, and develop new processes l. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with regulatory requirements.
