SYNOPSIS

Having about 12 years and 7 months of experiences in Production and Mechanical Maintenance field

MA’ADEN ALUMINIUM as a Production shift leader in Tandem - Cold Rolling Mill from April 2016 to till date (Through JAL), and

ESSAR STEEL INDIA LTD as a Deputy Manager 7 year and 6 months

ORGANISATIONAL DETAILS

In 2009, Ma’aden established a joint venture with Alcoa, the world’s third-largest aluminium producer, to build the world’s most efficiently integrated aluminium project in Saudi Arabia. This USD 10.8 billion (over SAR 40 billion) project includes a bauxite mine, a refinery, a smelter and one of the world’s most advanced rolling mills. Its product, aluminium of the highest international standards, is sold to both domestic and global markets and is encouraging the development of additional downstream aluminium based industries within the Kingdom.

ESSAR steel complex at Hazira (Gujarat, India), houses a 10 MTPA steel plant, which was the largest single-location flat steel producer in India and the fourth-largest single-location flat steel producer globally. The plant was supported by a complete infrastructure setup, including a captive port, power plant, lime plant and oxygen plant.

JOB PROFILE

Being a Shift leader of TCM operations. I am Taking care of all PLANING, PRODUCTION, QUALITY, and SAFETY activities. Monitoring and Controlling Preparation, Entry, Process, Exit, sections and all other operational aspects with shift crew to achieve the daily and monthly targets without any deviations and diversions. According to the Standards

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely producing High quality materials

Maximizing productivity of the mill at optimum capacity at the least cost.

Minimizing operating costs by controlling delays and optimizing the use of operating materials and supplies.

Creating an efficient, effective, and dependable set of processes for the elimination of waste in all areas of the work place

Ensuring that all workflows and activities are implemented based on approved systems, procedures and instructions.

Implementing the instructions received from the Manager and relays these instructions to peers and subordinates and to give feedback as appropriate.

Involving production planning & executions of day to day targets

Implementing work schedule/activities assigned to the team during maintenance down days and shutdowns as per plan, organizing team members to carry out these tasks in an orderly manner to accomplish the tasks on time.

Updating shift’s performance and other relevant highlights and observations in the Shift Logbook.

Preparing Daily and Monthly Production reports.

Ensuring complete personnel attendance and initiating appropriate action as needed to ensure efficient and continuity of operation.

Evaluating the individual performance of personnel and recommending appropriate training to enhance his skills and knowledge and thereby improve output.

Coordinating with Maintenance, Crane Section, Roll Shop, Utilities, cast house and Logistics to ensure the equipment reliability and continuous operation.

Coordinating with Downstream line to obtain feedback on product quality and plan for proper course of action where appropriate.

Coordinating with Central Maintenance and other contractors for early completion of contracted jobs in accordance with the job specifications.

Identifying and evaluating quality problems, suggesting solutions and taking corrective actions.

Initiating investigations on problems associated with equipment and process, and recommending the modification to improve quality, increasing productivity, preventing major equipment breakdown and optimizing cost.

Performs any additional task assigned by the Manager.

Regularly performing plant Audits, TPM and 5S in the work place and updating in the System.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Having 7 years and 6 months of experience in ESSAR Steel India LTD as a Deputy Manager.

About 6 years in Continues Pickling Line operations with online edge trimming process.

Fabrication and Erection of Mild steel Pickling acid Tank with Natural rubber lining.

1.6 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance of EOT Cranes

SAFETY

Strictly adhering to all safe working instruction and standard operating procedures.

Maintaining a safe attitude at work and behaving in a safe manner to prevent accidents and injuries.

Following all Safety mandates, and HSE policies, Work permit & LOTO system,

Preparing incident reports, conducting investigation and recommending solutions in coordination with HSE and other concerned agencies to prevent recurrence of similar incidents.

Reporting, Investigating and monitoring near misses / incidents in area of control, conducting and participating in all activities relating removal of hazards in work area.

Assisting with identification of hazards arising from activities in work area, ensuring that all are communicated to relevant personnel to maintain a hazard free work area, also Identifying and evaluating potential / existing safety problems, suggesting solutions and recommending suitable corrective measures.

Maintaining the good standard of housekeeping and asserts safety awareness in the workplace and provide for safe and well-maintained workplace to protect personnel from harm.

As a contract employee 1st person to get the acting supervisor position from operator within 2years of joining Ma’aden Aluminium company.

Positive Action Award for successful fabrication and Erection of pickling process acid tanks

Completed the acid tank with granite erection before the planned time (within 91hrs)

Made a heavy bridge assembly for coil shifting by using fork lifter while at cranes breakdown

Highest Record production in shift 57 coils 1270MT (ESSAR STEEL INDIA LTD)

Highest Record production in shift 30 coils and 726MT with 100% Prime (OCT 2020 - Ma’aden Aluminium)
