Client – BMW India

Roles & Responsibilities:

Project Leader – Door Panel Interiors Assembly for BMW All New X1, 7 Series, X5, X3, 3 series models.

Project Leader – Electrical Wiring Harness Assembly for Mercedes Benz C Class, BMW 2 series

Coordinating new projects with Head office Germany and local Customer for smooth launch of New Model Process Release.

Plan, organize and control subprojects, in cooperation with project management.

Manages both Freight & Export in a small to medium sized project and Obtains necessary information on import documentation when required according to country legislation

Manage orders to ensure end product is built, shipped and meets the customer’s expectations

Build and maintain a strong professional and productive relationship with all suppliers and carriers. Proactively work with them as needed to maintain service levels that meet our customer’s needs(Packaging Concepts) and are in line with our profit objectives.

Senior Engineer- Wiring harness Process Development for Ford Eco sport, All New Fiesta, Daimler, ISUZU.

Understanding Product requirement and creating sequence in operation of harness.

New product development by BOM creation, Prototype making, project execution, Cost estimation activities.

Generating VA\VE and localization ideas for cost reduction.

Regular expedition and meetings with team leaders, Suppliers, about project status.

Installation of Shrinking, Welding, Twisting and Taping machines for Mass production of Wiring Harness for FORD ECO SPORT, FORD FIGO, FORD FIESTA, DAIMLER.

Electrical Inspection programming and machine installation for Daimler and Ford projects.

Execution of Air Cooled Condenser (ACC) ordered to M/s GEI Industrial Systems Limited, Bhopal for timely dispatch of materials.

Timely execution of project thereby resolving all, commercial, logistics, material management, Technical Issues on behalf of SCL.

Has 4 months Site Experience during the erection of Boiler Unit 1 (2 X 150 MW), and ACC for UNIT 1.

Sep’09 – Mar’10 : Sekar Engineering, Trichy – Engineer Manufacturing

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for Manufacture of Columns (Star Column, Box Column) and Tie Beams which are used for the erection of Boilers in Power Plant Projects which are ordered by Cethar Vessel Limited, Trichy.
