Duties

Supported for Engineering Team Leader with regards to day to day activities including reporting of performance and escalations of significant issues

Been conversant with pure steam generators, steam pipework, pressure and condensate systems

Supported training and development of engineers in own shift / team

Provided day to day engineering support to the current Bulk Sterile Area of the Steriles Manufacturing Department

Provided day to day engineering support to the Sterile Manufacturing Department

Task management of Shift Engineering team, including direction and alignment of shift team to support production priorities

Participated in Risk Assessments on equipment and being proactive in closing out actions

Been conversant with the technical parameters governing pump maintenance regarding, mechanical seal installation, bearing clearances, gaskets, rotors, couplings, alignment and protection devices

Been conversant with statutory requirements on plant process tanks and safety devices

Assemble original/refurbished specialist vehicles and equipment complete to customer’s specification as outlined in the customer’s order

Use precision measurement tools and equipment to determine serviceability and accurate

Identify, plan, manage & execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks as well as provide technical assistance as required
