Sourcing and vendor management

Initiated the aggregation of consumables procurement taking into consideration shelf life and monthly demand, saving INR

~3 lacs/month

Accountable for stock worth INR 1.5 Cr and 900 consumables SKU and 150 assets SKU. Introduced daily updating of inventory

on SAP B1, resulting in clear inventory levels for reordering and valuation of goods available.

Implemented digitisation of procure to pay cycle in SAP B1, by periodically resolving program related issues with corrective

measures to improve program process and improving accuracy.

Negotiated payment terms with suppliers from two step payment terms to three step payment terms, helping the

organization by providing solution how to manage working capital efficiently in procurement.

Finalized and Negotiated contracts with new vendors and revised contract terms for existing vendors

Transportation & Logistics Management

Revamped existing route for few selected test and cold logistics and reduced TAT of sample pickup and delivery to the lab

from 4 to 2 days by coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Ensured the procurement of cold chain vehicle services and facilitated the movement of the vehicles and goods by ensuring

that the SOPs are met and KPIs maintained.

Facilitated the warehouse layout planning and SKU placement in cold warehouse (-80, -20, and 2-8 degree) by providing early

insights to the management by regularly accessing risks and issues.

Managed and trained a team of 40 cross functional work personnel how to handle the packages, each one of them picks ~10

-12 sample per day, from 26 locations around the country.

Involved in demand forecasting, providing solutions to the various stakeholders in optimization of inventory saved
