MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

Upon my completion of the training as a winding engine driver, some of the major jobs I did including.

1.Taking charge of a winder in accordance with MR 1418a and Countersigning of all pending entries in line with the above MR1418a in the driver log book.

2.Conducting drivers trip tests within two hours of taking charge in line with MR 1418k.

3.Very much conversant to the use of government cord of signals and domestic cord of signals in line with MR 1437a and b.

4.Dailies (conducting dailies with fitters and electricians in line with MR 1455.

5.Very much conversant with the duties of the winding engine driver in line with MR 1418a to n.

6.Hosting of ore and waste by meeting the company targets in a very safe way without damaging company properties.

7.During man and material winding, conducting it in a similar manner as I have

mentioned above.

8.Conducting shaft maintenancies when changing guide rails,bantons, pipes and cables in the shaft.

9.Conducting shaft examination on weekly basis in accordance with MR 1455 & MR 1438.

10.Conducting rope change on the double drum and friction winder (Koepe winder).

11.Conducting E.M.R.T, rope examination which is done weekly and monthly in line

with MR 1455.

12.Slining of various heavy machines to and from underground.

13.Skip change on the double drum winder when it is due for change.

14.Spine removal before conducting doubling down on the double drum winder in order to facilitate back end rope cut when it is due.

Being a competent person in my line of operations, I have been meeting company targets and being recognized by company management for my hard work.
