Role and Responsibilities:

To execute piping fabrication and erection works include identification of materials, coordination for the qualification of welders, inspection of site as per isometric drawing, coordination for the NDT,

Prepare as built drawing and test pack, mechanical punch list, hydro testing, Flange Management and box up activities as per applicable codes, procedure and standards.

To assist pre commissioning and commissioning activities of piping systems completed include flange joint leak test, air flushing, water flushing, nitrogen purging etc.

Preparation of construction method statements and procedures for fabrication of piping, installation and testing of piping,structure’s and equipment’s etc..

To check the Bill of Material (Material Take Off) as per drawing for ensuring requirements are realistically quantified as per scope and budget and follow up the delivery of the project/construction materials.

To liaise with procurement and material management team to ensure the project piping material delivery are in time as per planned schedule to site

Liaising with engineering (design team) to ensure deliverable like project materials and equipments meet construction requirements

Identify material specification, inspection requirements and organizes for stage inspection as required.

To study the vendor manuals for monitoring the materials delivery and ensuring all inspection of material/equipment as per vendor specification

To coordinate for the installation of Mechanical static and rotary equipment’s like Steam Boiler, Tank, Vessels, Pumps, Blower, Chimney. organizing vendor arrival to the site at the time of commissioning, coordination for the commissioning activities with vendors etc.

Conduct daily meeting for the progress and concern related to the works with Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Commissioning discipline head, participate weekly meeting with client

Preparation of different types of work permits for the mechanical activities, attend the Permit To Work training classes, identify and control the hazards, site visit with client, preparation for site audit etc.

Role and Responsibilities: (Design )

Solid understanding of 2D and/or 3D computer applications for piping design ( AutoCAD, Smart Plant 3D)

Skilled in using SP3D for equipment modeling, piping modeling and Structural modeling

Process and utility piping and facility EPC design experience with energy, oil, gas or petrochemical industry projects.

Experience of preparing P&ID’s, piping plans, elevations, sections, isometrics and details.

Experience with isometric production control and monitoring.

Good knowledge of 2D drafting skill and able to produce piping deliverables using 3D software.
