WORK EXPERIENCE:

2019 FEBRRUARY-TO DATE: Vapco Construction Company LTD

-I have been handling the Quantity Survey works for the Vipingo Industries :(Kitui Flour mills production plant) Project handling the calculations of quantities for the valuation of the project.

-I have also handled the preparing of bills so as to facilitate preparing of invoices.

-My job description includes making weekly site inspection accessing the work progress and supervision of the construction works

2017 APRIL – SEPTEMBER: Kenya Urban Roads Authority – Improvement of Mai Mahiu Road

/ Lang’ata Road Junction, Access to Southlands Estate / Lang’ata Road Junction and Five Star Estate / Lang’ata Road Link Road under the Nairobi Roads Rapid Decongestion Programme

(NRRDP).

-Inspected the materials the contractor used on site including taking the hardcore and murram to the laboratories to ensure they passed the required strength and durability properties

-Did daily and weekly work progress reports for the resident engineer 2016 APRIL – SEPTEMBER: Kenya Urban Roads Authority – Nairobi Roads Rapid Decongestion Programme Phase II – Lot 6; Improvement of Argwings Kodhek, Ralph Bunche and Woodlands Roads.

Conducted the traffic survey of the Argwings kodhek and Ralph Bunche junction that was used in the new design of the junction

Took part in the setting out of the road and consequent taking of the road levels during the excavation and layering of the road.

2015 APRIL – SEPTEMBER: Internal Attachment at the Technical University of Mombasa. Was a learning experience in the university taking at least 2 weeks in the different engineering labs including plumbing works, carpenter, survey, metal manipulation and concrete works. EDUCATION:
