I am contacting you regarding the Industrial Project Engineer. I am interested in learning more about the position and filling out the online form. My, relevant qualifications include my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Also, of note is my most recent position as a Quality Engineer II for Honeywell Aerospace.

In this role, I conduct 5Y analysis, load QN’s (Quality Notifications), manage our eCATS (Electronic Corrective Action Tracking System) within our site, as well as loading customer escapes and assisting with cause chains, Corrective/Preventative Actions and Systemic Actions on a weekly basis. I am also responsible for ensuring that our company is compliant with ISO/AS9100, FAA, EASA, and CAAC requirements. In addition, I submit all customer’s self-audit vendor questionnaires of our company and conduct weekly process controls to identify any internal & external escapes. Every Wednesday, I lead our Q-Stars focal group, by updating members of the group on the latest document revisions, sharing external/internal customer escapes, LWI’s revisions (Labor Work Instructions) as well as informing them of upcoming visitors such as auditors or members of leadership from within the Honeywell organization. Every third week of the month, I lead our Quality On-boarding In-process Inspection & Awareness class for new hires and current Honeywell employees, who feel they need a refresher course. In this class I teach all new employees of Honeywell Quality Organization from QCM (Quality Control Manual), RSM (Repair Station Manual) down to LWI’s and current SOS (Standard Operations Sheet). Every Tuesday and Thursday, I am responsible for loading OJT (On the Job Training forms) and ensuring our technicians are current and up to date with product certifications and training. I am also the site’s secondary backup when loading customer service bulletins and revision dates to SAP/GAM System Software. I also work with (DCMA) Defense Management Agency to ensure Honeywell is compliance with ISO/AS9100, FAA, requirements and ensure all government furnished avionic devices are delivered in a timely.

I also have experience as a Tech II Technician for Honeywell Aerospace. During my time in this position, I was responsible for quoting various airlines regarding their product, working on SAP/GAM System Software, modifying EGPWS/black box recorders, troubleshooting A2A3 power supplies, A1CCA micro controller boards and CCA memory boards. I am also certified in fine pitch soldering, SMT, through hole, and CVR recorders.

Along with my experience at Honeywell, I also have 13 years of electrical experience as a 02-Journeyman Electrician. In the years of being an electrician, I have gained experience in installing distributions for MRI and CT scans as well as Fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial buildings. I also have experience in wiring & troubleshooting electrical circuits in commercial buildings, installing distributions and services for apartment complexes and residential homes, as well as remodeling homes with updated electrical circuitry NEC codes.

During my time as a Quality Engineer, I’ve grown in my role as a leader. I’ve learned to lead from a place of humility, seeking to listen and understand others’ perspectives that may be different than my own. I continually make it my aim to lead as a team, communicating and making decisions together with my colleagues. I value trust and honesty and believe that developing an atmosphere of respect and honor are very important. I am an honest, loyal, and committed worker and act diligently to accomplish the duties given to me in a timely manner.
