• Performed excisions of basal cell carcinoma/squamous cell carcinoma/melanoma, wound closure via suturing, punch biopsies, shave biopsies, excision of cysts, hyfrecator cautery, skin tag removal, local anesthetic injections, suture removal, electrodesiccation and curettage procedures, total body skin exams, and cryotherapy

• Provided direct care ranging from motivational interviewing, assisting with toileting, bathing, applied treatments to wounds, maintained catheters and ileostomies, and assisted with activities of daily living

• Worked on wards that consisted of 25-30 patients with any diagnoses under the psychiatric umbrella as well as acute and chronic medical conditions

• Was involved in emergent codes on all wards of the hospital for violent and dangerous behavior, this included calming the patient verbally, restraining the patient to administer sedative medications, and restraining to transfer the patient to a safer ward

• Gained experience in the use of four-point leather restraints, soft two-point restraints, and vest restraints
