February 2019- October 2019–Glaxo Smith Kline – Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Associate

Operate microbial fermentation manufacturing equipment to produce medication while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Batch Records. Work with equipment, such as centrifuge, bioreactors, holding tanks, autoclave, washer, rockers, incubators, pH meters, DO probes, welders. and pumps. Proficient in ISO-7 aseptic gowning and aseptic techniques. Evaluate equipment status, solutions, materials and processes to ensure availability and correct state. Monitor processes and respond to any adverse events and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Problem-solve processing and equipment issues using a 6-step RCA methodology.
