• Operate a 10 or 5 ton crane to move steel bar (offloading/ loading trucks, load/offload line

• Operate forklift to get rid of scrap metal

• Heat treat steel bar and aluminum pipe according to specifications of order

• Perform quality checks ( diameter, length, hardness, prep hardness samples on cnc, and perform strength tests)

• Enter quality and inventory data into computer

Packer/ Printer/ Adjuster

This job lasted through three different companies. Also, I learned three different positions while working there.

Packer

Inspect plates for form flaws, print flaws, and proper count. Place proper count stacks on wrapper to be shrink wrapped Inspect wrapped packages for holes and proper seam placement Place stickers properly on good packages

Pack and palletize good product

Let adjusters know when product is out of spec so they can make adjustments Printer

• Run 2 extrusion lines

• Setup extruder to proper specs of order (length, width, thickness, and proper stripe placement)

• Keep extruder full of plastic pellets
