Maulana Ibrahim:
To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter in hope of getting a job as a Quran or Arabic teacher at Al-Ilm institute. I am a sophomore at Cypress college.
I have volunteered in Al-Ansar Saturday school. Some of the things I did were dealing with children as well as parents. I was a volunteer for a third grade class in my whole time in this school. I also had to work with projectors as well as computers and connecting to TVs. I learned a great deal of skills I did not know I had.
I also volunteered in Al-ilm school as well as being a student for 5 years in it. I had to babysit the principal’s son as well as organize the storage. I also had to teach Arabic and Islamic Studies. I also volunteered in Al Noor foundation summer school.
My major is chemistry. This major needs a lot of motivation and determination. I believe working in Al-Ilm institute more would give me the opportunity to have more experience in dealing with children as well as an experience in how to teach if I taught Arabic. Please do not hesitate to call me at 714-***-**** or at *************@*****.*** if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Heba Labanieh
