Responsible for the implementation and management of the Bureau of Justice Assistance S.T.O.P. School Violence Grant focused on reducing school violence through training programs for administrators, counselors, teachers, law enforcement and students in HCDE’s supported Independent School Districts.
Organized, facilitated and executed close to 70 grant trainings that trained approximately 3200 adults and 200+ students from more than 100 schools, agencies and other government organizations.
Through relationship-building, secured training support from law enforcement, social justice, safety, mental health, and higher education organizations to support grant trainings, meetings, and podcasts.
