Through this internship I learned about the different types of formwork, slab filling, alignment of beam,

shuttering, safety precautions etc.

On site I learned about the different types of slab. One-way slab and two-way slab in which one way is

supported by a beam and two opposite side only. The two-way slab supported by the beam on all four

sides.

Grade of Concrete: On site I saw the different types of concrete grades and their uses like M20, M25 and

M30.

Curing: All desirable properties are improved with curing. The curing should be minimum of 7 days until

or 70% of the specified compressive or flexural strength is attained.

Testing blocks: I learned about to check the quantity of the solid concrete block on site with the help of

compression test.

EFFECT ON REDEVELOPMENT OF BUILDING IN LOCKDOWN : 2019 to 2021

The Covid-19 pandemic is likely to have derailed the redevelopment process of old and

dilapidated buildings in the city.

The COVID 19 pandemic has had by far-reaching very severe consequences since it has spread to

all the countries. The economy, in general, faces a direct impact in the mid of COVID 19

outbreak. Many countries face recession and economic downtown.
