STORE MANGER, TJX COMPANIES – MULTIPLE BRANDS (TJ MAXX, HOMEGOODS) Manages the operation of the store by connecting store objectives to the organizational goals and managing a team of Exempt Store Managers and approximate (85) eighty-five non-exempt Associates to drive profitable sales, develop talent, achieve operational goals, and exceed customer expectations.
• Evaluates Associates' and Management performance, recognizing Associates through coaching, reward and discipline.
• Recommends and executes the discipline and termination of ASMs and Associates. Coaches, trains and develops ASMs. Sets clear goals for ASMs with their input and holds them accountable for meeting their responsibilities and objectives. Follows up on the ASM development.
• Accountable for financial operations within the store (payroll, markdown compliance, cash control, petty cash, KPIs, etc.). Ensures accuracy, mitigates risk and makes continual recommendations for operational improvements.
• Reviews and analyzes operational reports and audit results with ASMs. Jointly develops action plans and ensures their execution.
• Collaborates with Loss Prevention on physical security measures and ensures that all shrink reduction programs are effectively communicated, implemented, and reinforced. 01-2010 TO 04-2012
