Completed project in Six Sigma implementation under the guidance of the quality assurance and system department. The project was conducted in a DMAIC framework. By analyzing past data and doing Pareto analysis, the root cause for the problems was found. Also performed fishbone, capacity analysis, and 5Y for analyzing data.

Significant reduction in defects was found in the production line by applying Six Sigma methodology, achieve a 61% reduction in defects in the production line.

Recorded manufacturing cycle time for operations on the lathe, mill, turning, drill, and grinding machine to analyze standard division by statistical process control.

Gathered the data regarding material flow, process flow, cycle time, lead time, changeover time by conducting a time and motion study.

Prepared the spaghetti diagrams of material flow and developed Gantt Charts to identify Value-Added and Non-Value-Added activities along with their Value-Added Ratio.

Proposed an effective idea of cellular manufacturing to eliminate TIMWOOD and to increase their efficiency by 45% in first 30 days

H-E-B Bakery- Material Handling & Facility Planning Project - Houston September 2019-December 2019

Offered Industrial solution for the two problems at H-E-B Bakery

Performed Craft algorithm to rework the layout of micro-ingredients, decreasing the cost of transportation resulting in savings of $163,000 annually. Also, advised on a procedure to fill ingredient bins more optimally

Designed a robust tray tracking system and software to reduce misplacement of delivery baskets by using material handling techniques and Python, reducing stock replenishment spending by 80%.
