JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Always involved in monitoring & operating the plant safely to achieve the targeted Production with quality as per SOP.

Production planning, raw materials inventory management and Finished goods quantity updating through ERP software ( Microsoft Dynamics ).

Decision making in critical times to safeguard the manpower, equipments & production.

Smooth start-up, commissioning and shut down activities of plant carried out in safe manner by managing the workforce.

Continuous monitoring of raw material consumption such as DM water, Furnace oil and steam to ensure that the specific consumption is within the limit and taking the corrective action against the deviation.

Ensuring the quality of product within the limit and taking the corrective action against the deviation in quality.

Coordinating with Field operators for smooth operation of process equipments.

Monitoring the trends of process parameters in DCS and Coordinating with Panel operators to take corrective & preventive actions to trouble shoot the deviation.

Trouble shooting the problems, identifying the root cause of the problem and finding the temporary & permanent solution to the problems.

Raising the permit systems such as Cold work, Hot work, Height Work, Line clearance and Vessel entry permit for maintenance.

Supervising & ensuring the safety in isolation of problematic equipments as per checklist and handover it to the maintenance dept.

ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING EXPERIENCE:

Involved in Degreesing and Descaling of shell and tube heat exchanger, U - tube and bundled tubes, jacketed vessels and condensers.

Flushing & purging of pipelines by Air, Nitrogen and steam.

Involved in packed bed distillation column choke clearance by caustic lye and xylene washing.

Vacuum Distillation columns leak detection using steam test and Nitrogen test.

Involved in shutdown jobs such as distillation column packed bed replacement and Thermic fluid replacement.

SAFETY :

Experience in handling permit systems such as Cold work, Hot work, Height Work, Line clearance, Earth excavation and Vessel entry permit for maintenance.

Knowledge & operations of fire hydrant systems and various fire extinguishers.

PPE’s such as goggles, organic vapor mask, helmet, gloves and safety shoes.
