Engineering coordination between various departments and design coordination meetings, Client interaction for project scheduling, project monitoring, interaction with vendors for draw- ing approval, design coordination, Design review meetings, Designer’s supervision. Aware of NEC, IEEE, IEC, Shell DEP, PDO & OXY and other national & international codes / standards and recommended practices followed for design, manufacturing, installation. Attend regular meetings as called by H.O.C. / with project engineers / engineering / commissioning etc. (For progress / discipline interface / constraints / vendor inclusion).

Review / scrutinize / accept / reject & Negotiate-Coordinate with contractor on Price Pro- posals.

Review Construction Schedules (Histograms & man-hour content )

Liaise with Project Engineers/Budget Holders on costs & schedule.

Work hand-in-hand with Oxy Muscat & field planning & contractors planning for sched- ules content and projected time lines to completion / hand-over.

Liaise with FAC Construction Superintendent & Supervisors on daily basis

Interface on a day-to-day basis with the discipline engineers in projects / engineering - following up all aspects of the engineering work-packs for technical content and coordi- nating on any short-falls / changes / modifications etc.

Process and Issue Work Instructions — approximately 100 to 150 p.c.m.

Monitor Work-scope Progress — for all live projects

Host Weekly Progress Meetings. (Con-call to site supervision & Contractor management in Muscat).

Liaise with Contractor management on camp conditions/inspections and follow any ac- tions as required by the contractors Muscat based senior's.

Monitor Variation Claims — Issue Variations if necessary. (Coordinate with contracts di- vision on same)

Update PRISM Reports—weekly and monthly

Monitor WI and Overall Contract Costs

Review Contractor Daily & Weekly Reports — progress, manpower, etc..

Close-out Work Instructions

Maintain Electronic & Paper filing systems (as required) for WI's, Costs, Schedules, Close-outs & WIMS

Process Contractor Invoices using PRISM report

Input to materials supply and shortages — MTO / OMSR shortages.

Work with department material controllers and Interface regularly with Supply chain on all aspects of material issues.

Coordinate with QA/QC group on procured items for certification, any non-conformances as raised at site, interact with Oxy supervision on MEI handovers etc. Rajarathinam.V

Coordinate with site teams on raised `Punch-items' where Muscat involvement is able to as- sist any Hold-points/items etc.

Provide Commissioning, Operations, Maintenance, Drilling Dept with Labour & Resources

Consults with Lead Designers and Engineers from other disciplines to ensure the smooth flow of vital information necessary for the scheduled completion of the project.

Directs activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing is conform to functional specifications, recognized codes, standards, and customer re- quirements.

Advises Lead Engineer concerning design or scope changes which initiate or require an Engineering Change Order.

Continues development of the technical knowledge, skills and potential.
