Student Database Management System

Using Barcode Scanner

The idea of the project was to try and

automate the entire process of taking the

attendance of students in an institution. It

was found that taking the attendance

manually took a lot of time and effort of the

teachers. We suggested a Barcode System in

which a barcode is given to a student and they

scan the barcode before the start of a lecture

using a barcode scanner or their respective

smartphones that has a third-party

application provided by the institution.

Reverse SQL Question Generation in Adaptive E-

Learning System

The seminar discusses the reverse SQL question

generation which helps for adaptive e-learning

system. It is done by generating answers(SQL

query) first instead of question. From that answer the question is to be generated. The system is

effective while dealing with database courses.

Main Project

IoT based Intelligent Gas Leakage Detector

This project deals with the design and

implementation of an IoT based gas leakage

detection system.It uses MQ5 Gas sensor to detect

the gas leak and DHT sensor to detect the

temperature and humidity in the air. Certain

events are triggered, when gas leak is detected.

There is also a prevention mechanism in the

system. Also an attractive dashboard for

displaying the sensor values. The basic idea of the project is to guide people with safety while using LPG Gas. The project is useful in the areas of

house, hotels and other LPG Gas storage areas.

The detector detects the gas using gas sensor by

continuously monitoring the level of gas present in air.

Won first prize in inter-house MIME competition

held at MGM College of Engineering.
