Cover Letter

Currently, I am the Head of House in Campus Life at IMG Academy, Bradenton, Florida. Leading, mentoring, counseling students athletes as they try and map out their educational future. Up North in Massachusetts, I was employed as a Substitute Teacher, Transitional Paraprofessional, and job coach at the West Springfield High School; Working with special needs students in the transitional program. Prior, I was employed for ten years at Verizon/Dexmedia in the corporate world, working with business professionals throughout New England. I have extensive experience managing and leading personal, from the private sector to the educational field.

My philosophy is to lead by example and that there is no task that cannot be accomplished through hard work and perseverance. I became an adult learner and returned to college in my 40’s, which has turned out to being one of the best decisions in my life. I have completed my MA, in Communications with an emphasis in Education along with a BS, in Applied Management and an AA, in Secondary Education.

In my spare time, I like to coach youth sports. I have coached baseball & basketball locally as well as for travel ball up North for over 10 years.
