Project Description PI (Plastic Issuance) system stores data by defining the properties of Wells Fargo ATM & DEBIT Cards. Project Description MIPS Reduction

Data Assembly captures the orders (specs) from the Business analysts. It takes the market/store information from the Masters, Item/Product information from DPC

(Dictionary/Production Control) and raw trend detail, Causal data from Inputs System. On the output side Data Assembly gives PLDB (Process Level Database) to

customers (fixed format) and also to the Output systems

(Flexible format). It also sends PTS performance reports to Nielsen Management. The scope of this effort is to make the necessary changes (Prevent Binary to Packed decimal conversion) in Mainframe Report processor and identify the impact on the various output systems. The output systems which are considered in this effort are RWS, NAPE, PLDB and SAS listing.

Description Wal-Mart Baselines Phase II

Baseline is a time series expectation of non-promoted volume. It is calculated at the store/UPC/week level from prior (and future exponentially smoothed) weekly

observations of normal non-promoted volume. Baselines help the clients (manufacturers / retailers) to understand the promotional lift. The most common uses of baselines are for deriving incremental sales, measuring effectiveness of their promotions, and as an estimate of non-promoted sales for a given time.
