Objective: To implement 3G physical uplink and downlink layer using simulation software and transmit voice signals through the designed communication system. Tools or techniques used: GNU Radio Companion

Outcome: Voice signals were transmitted and received successfully through 3G physical uplink and downlink layer

3. Topic: Single Fed Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) Cavity Backed Slot Antenna Period: 10 months

Objective: To design and simulate a Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) cavity backed slot antenna with high gain to radiate at around 10 GHz. Tools or techniques used: Ansys HFSS 13.0

Outcome: A SIW cavity backed slot antenna was designed and simulated to radiate at the desired frequency with high gain
