Providing one-to-one support to four separate middle school students across NYC in algebra, geometry, biology, chemistry, & essay composition. Gained experience in problem solving, communicating novel ideas, personal fiscal responsibility, and punctuality.
Scouts of America- Senior Patrol Leader/Asst. Scoutmaster September 2014 – present
Organize troop meetings/camping trips/fundraisers, teach valuable life skills to >30 middle/high school aged children, communicate with parents of Scouts, effectively transitioned troop to virtual in lieu of COVID-19. Global Leadership Adventures Summer Program – Service in the Sacred Valley Volunteer July 2018
GLA is an international service organization geared toward teens wanting to use their skills to make a real impact. I supported local craftswomen in rural Peru by improving infrastructure through the construction of safe workshops in their village. The service trip included a multi-day 50-mile hike through the Andes, ending at Machu Picchu.
Codefy – Teleconference Coordinator December 2019 – September 2020
Codefy is a teen-run non-profit aimed at educating students in coding languages to prepare them for the modern workforce. Facilitated and monitored virtual classes that mentor >150 middle and high school students from the Northeast on Python machine learning models. Orchestrate outreach to students, volunteers, and parents in NYC.
