Customer Service and Sales Experience
•9 years in the Casino Gaming Industry working directly with guests in a fast-paced environment where the atmosphere of gains and losses with gambling and noise only heighten the complex of delivering stellar service. This has built compassion, tolerance and strong people and diplomatic problem solving skills. I also traveled with this line of work so became adept at adjusting to different types of people from all over the country and was even exposed regularly to guests from all over the world.
•8 years of call related or call center experience. 6.5 years of that was calling prospects, customers and media and business professionals where I not only sold products but created marketing campaigns that coordinated media companies, Chamber of Commerces, realtors and local businesses working together to help their communities. I even established a Canadian market on my own. I also had supervisory and marketing management duties which insured that operations ran smoothly. 1.5 years of this experience was in Medicare enrollments and the sale of health insurance products.
•7 years in a retail environment either in food service or a product oriented establishment. This of course instilled strong direct customer service skills in working face-to-face with the public but also created strong team building abilities.
•15 years working for my family's business in finance where I had many administrative duties and had direct experience with customers over the phone and in person. I also served as a liason between our company and financial service businesses and held my Series 7 Securities License.
•5 years as a private piano teacher which I started at the age of 12. This was my own business which I found my own students in the local community and scheduled, taught their lessons and designed their study courses.
Support Experience and Skills:
•I have over 40 years of customer service skills from work ranging from sales to administrative support. I have worked in sales/marketing, finance retail and education. I have worked with all walks of life from high level executives, blue collar people, the elderly and children. I have lived abroad so am a natural with many cultures as well.
•I was a camp counselor right after I graduated from high school and took children ages 9-12 on week-long wilderness experiences and also was their counselor over the entire summer.
•I have lived in the UK and Japan and have traveled to other foreign countries. This has helped me to develop a tremendous compassion for humanity.
•I was raised a Classic Pianist and have other musical talents and have worked as a Commercial Actress/Model in film, television, improvisation, radio, multimedia, animation and print.
•I also was an avid extreme athlete
I mention the above as all of these experiences and skills have strengthened my ability to work in any industry with finesse, flexibility and an upbeat spirit and allow me to avail my service and skills to the customer/patrons/clients with an earnest and genuine graciousness. I bring this attitude to the workplace which allows me to find a wonderful balance between the serious nature of our work and the gratitude for living and thriving in the life I have been given. I happily share my positivity and skills with as many people as possible to help the means and end of our successes!
