Reserves & Exploitation Manager – Montney and Dunvegan
Managed, calculated, categorized, and reconciled Canada’s reserves, contingent resources, and prospective resources totally over 90 TCF across the 900,000 acres. Ensured the corporate reporting was compliant with NI 51-101, COGEH, & internal requirements similar to PRMS.
Led the reserve & resource evaluation for 6 years and increased the initial booked volumes by 10-fold, modeled all full-scale development scenarios for LNG Canada with pricing sensitives.
Completed and analyzed over 600 producing Montney wells in year-over-year performance in type curves and identified future locations that were strategically developed to optimize the economics.
Led the extended reach horizontals strategy to expand the development in core areas and increased the IRR, PIR and capital efficiency by over 40%.
Managed the monthly capital expenditure reviews that were in excess of $10 MM/month and reconciled these expenditures vs. the annual forecasted budget and the quarterly re-forecasts. Murphy Oil, Calgary, AB Feb 2011 – Mar 2013
SR Exploitation Engineer – AB and BC Montney, US and International
Evaluated acquisitions in PHDwin, Value Navigator, & ARIES that were in excess of $2Billion and recommended various business scenarios to management with multiple economic sensitivities.
Optimized the Montney well & pad development schedules to align with corporate budgets of $500MM, and ensured that production targets were maintained within 5% in performance reports.
Collaborated with the Ryder Scott office in Denver for evaluating Murphy Oils’ N. American on shore properties in the unconventional plays – Montney, Duvernay, Bakken, and Eagle Ford.
Evaluated numerous farm-in projects for the Duvernay, and proposed an opportunity with Athabasca Oil for farm-in to their acreage. Ran all the scenarios for the A&D team along with price sensitivity.

SR Development Engineer – South and Central AB
Led the team in developing Hunt’s Willesden Green acreage and drilled 8 liquids-rich horizontal Glauconite wells high in value, greatly that contributed towards the corporate divestiture of $400MM.
Optimized development for future horizontal wells in central AB by partaking in land swaps, and negotiating deals with adjacent competitors.
Steer headed the increase in reserves value in Hunt’s internally tracked Canadian reserves when it was brought to the market for divestiture.
Developed the SE Alberta Enchant land base with infill deviated oil wells on existing pads and improved recovery factor by over 30% with water flood optimization.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS
As someone who loves to engage in physical activity, I enjoy a variety of things such as hiking, mountain biking and snow shoeing. I have a passion for running half-marathons and have so far completed five. I’m striving to break my target of 90-minute. When it’s not the season for running outside, I like to do both skiing and snowboarding in the winter time. I’m taking taekwondo and so far, I’ve earned a green belt. When there’s time to vacation in hot places, I love to scuba dive. I’ve seen many fish, sharks, turtles, sting rays and have been on deep dives to ship wrecks.
