This document is a professional profile. It is intended to give a brief picture of my abilities and skills related to the Shipping/Service Industry; of which I have been a part for sometime now. Any clarifications/ details necessary are most welcome. A response in any form whatsoever is desired and shall be highly appreciated.

Introduction:

In my Career enhancement there have been two major sectors of which i have been a part of. Presently I am associated with the Shipping Industry sailing on board Merchant Ships.

Since past 16 years I have been sailing on board Merchant Ships of Different Sizes and capacities. I started my shipping career with the Position of an Assistant Administrator on my First Ship( Barber International Shipping) and then got promoted to the Rank of Fleet Administration Officer in my current company, ( STASCO/NAKILAT – Shell Shipping International Ltd, UK) after my first sailing of 7 months.

I started my career in the Hospitality and Service Industry and was associated with THE TAJ GROUP OF HOTESL AND PLACES MUMBAI, for over four years in the Front Office Department(Business centre) in a Five Star Property providing Premium Product and Service to a range of Domestic and International clients. I have been involved in the mobilisation of office solutions for the business traveler.

My character can be best summed up as driven by creativity and motivated by challenge. I am a quick learner and a quiet listener. Interaction with international clients has helped me in learning a lot about the behavioral traits, mannerisms and accents of people coming from different parts of the world. I am highly task and people oriented and hope to have a long and mutually satisfying career with your organisation.

Employment History:

I have been associated with three organizations in the capacities as mentioned below wherein details of my employment and track history are charted.

1)Organization:

STASCO-NAKILAT( SHELL TRADING AND SHIPPING CO)-

Presently from 1st Jan 2016 I have Novated to NAKILAT SHIPPING- QATAR.

Designation: F.A.O (FLEET ADMINISTRATION OFFICER) - (FEBUARY 2005- TILL DATE)

Presently I am working with QGTC (MI) as a fleet administration officer on board Nakilat LNG ships.

I am responsible for all the administration work on board the ship and am directly reporting to the Captain/Chief Engineer for my day to day work.

To sum up my job in a comprehensive way:-

oResponsible for the entire administration work of the ship. Assisting the

oMaster by individually handling the entire Customs/Immigration Paper work and make sure that all this is done without any errors. Assisting Master with Accounting paper work for all crew and officers on board( including handling of Cash advance/Bond stores/Month end Remittances of wages deductions from vessel etc)

Acting as Communication in charge between ship and shore, by independently making messages for crew reliefs, flight bookings, and other repatriation formalities.

Looking after crew and officers training/welfare. Looking after the crew/officers and ships certification and make sure that vessel is in compliance with Flag state/Port state and other ISM requirements.

Assisting the Chief Eng with closely monitoring the budget and make sure that all required spares/stores for ship is wisely procured and within OPEX budget. Closely monitoring the requirements for any stores/spares that need to be dealt with urgency, for timely arrival onboard. Responsible for maintaining archive of ship paper work.

Monitoring the ships safety statistics and assisting he Ships Safety Officer in all admin related asks by playing major role in making Safety Meeting Minutes and fully operating he Company’s safety System program OMNISAFE. Compiling vessel safety statistics for discussing in the ships bi-monthly safety meeting and sending same to office.

2) Organization: BARBER SHIPPING LTD- NORWAY

Designation: ASAD ( ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR ) - DEC 2003- JUNE 2004

I have worked with BARBER SHIPPING fleet on Board their principal vessels. My designation was ASAD( Assistant Administrator). I was responsible for the Accounting of payroll for all the crew members on board. Looking after their wages( Salary), compulsory allotments. OT and other accounting procedures. I was responsible for all the communications on board my ship, like handling E-mail, Faxes, telexes etc through the satellite mode. Since the vessel called different foreign Ports I was responsible for all the Port administration work like customs clearance, port clearance etc. I have to interact with the delegates of port and custom authorities to clear the ship from different administration formalities.. The IT work of the ship was also handled by self. There were different software based training courses for all the crew members which have to be looked upon by me. At the end of the contract of all the crew members, I have to co-ordinate with the international travel agency to process the ticketing facilities of the crew.

3) Organisation : Taj Mahal Palaces & Towers, Mumbai.

Designation: Assistant - Business Centre. (November1999 -November 2003)

In my assignment I was required to supervise operations and delegate responsibilities to my colleagues.
