EXPERIENCE
Python Programming
Student
October 2017 - March 2019
Synthesized methods through Python to create mechanisms/logic for a user-oriented digital simulation
Fulfilled numerous strict deadlines requiring extensive application of Python to analyze data structures
Learned the core structures of object-oriented programing (OOP)
Utilized the libraries of various python modules such as numpy, pandas and matplotlib
Account Payables Clerk
D. R. Horton
June 2019 - January 2020
Managed 500+ invoices per week in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Engaged with over 50+ clients over concerns of their invoices
Entered data in an oracle database and retrieved the data at the request of vendors.
Used the JD Edwards ERP to process invoices for vendors.
Fiber Optics Technician
Fluke Networks
April 2020 - Current
Calibrate and troubleshoot fiber optic testing equipment using OLTS, multimeters and OTDRs.
Make sure all calibration test data is stored in a database, so it is easily retrievable.
Using SAP ERP to manage manufacturing processes.
Tasked with overviewing the business process of taking in units for calibration. Gave advise to management on how to improve the efficiency of the workflow.
PERSONAL PROJECTS
2-D Distance Sensor
November 2017-January 2018
Utilizes two ultra-sonic transducers to find the distance of an object from the sensor.
Using the data retrieved the from the two transducers, a python script will use the law of cosines to calculate the x and y distance of the object.
This project taught me a lot about debugging and required me to use my problem-solving skills to figure ways to make the script run in various scenario
Projects Database
March 2021 – Present
Constructed a database in Access to keep track of personal projects and related data.
Contains several tables utilizing primary/foreign keys.
Used database normalization to eliminate redundancy and improve the data integrity.
