JOB DESCRIPTION

Utilizing DCS & SCADA system to monitor all the operation and sensitive equipment monitoring.

Knowledge of generate specified electrical power, or to regulate the flow of power between generating stations and substations.

Knowledge to control and maintain auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, condensers, feed water heater, filters, and chlorinators, to supply water, fuel, lubricants, air, and auxiliary power.

Knowledge of generator output to match the phase, frequency, and voltage of electricity supplied to panels.

Knowledge of making adjustment or minors repairs, such as tightening leaking gland and pipe joints, report any needs for major repairs.

Knowledge of open and close valves and switches in sequence upon signals from other workers, in order to start or shutdown auxiliary units.

Knowledge of operating or control power generating equipment, including boilers, turbines, generators and reactors, using control boards or semi-automatic equipment.

Knowledge of taking reading from charts, meters and gauges at established intervals, and take corrective steps as necessary.

Knowledge of record and compile operational data, completing and maintain forms, logs, and reports.

Knowledge of electrical codes, utility standards and safety programs as governed by rules, regulation and guidelines of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI AND THE NEC.

SKILLS

Exercise discretion and good sound judgment.

Process proficient English oral and written communication skills.

Skilled in power plant, substation, and utility voltages (480 volt, 2400 volts, 4160 volts through 13.8 KV )

Complete shift inspection of the following: gas turbines, boilers, rectifiers, air compressor, deep wells, Desalination units, and electrical generators.
