VOLUNTEERING

DUKWI REFUGEE CAMP- SKILLSHARE INTERNATIONAL BOTSWANA IN COLLABORATION WITH UNHCR Botswana JUNE 2018- JANUARY 2019 I volunteered as an IT and Media Personnel at Skill share International Botswana in Collaboration with UNHCR and was based at Dukwi Refugee camp for 6 months. I covered all their community activities including workshops and seminars that were meant to empower refugees. I was part of the committee that organized seminars which raised awareness against GBV, HIV/AIDS, as well as refugee social empowering strategies. I captured photographs, videos, wrote articles of all events which took place at Dukwi Refugee Camp, presented to the website developer who uploaded them on the organization website.

SECRETARY GENERAL - GERALD ESTATES ALL STARS FOOTBALL TEAM JANUARY 2020-DECEMBER 2021

I volunteered at Gerald Estates All Stars Football Team(plays second division under FRAFA region) and was later voted into the executive committee of the club as a secretary general. I was responsible for keeping accurate records of each meeting's minutes or a detailed timeline of the meeting. I filed and read the minutes from the previous meeting each time the club gathered. The club members had to vote to accept or amend the minutes.I delegated all the administrative duties that enabled the club and its members to function effectively, I and the deputy secretary provided the main point of contact for people within and outside the club on just about every aspect of the club's activities. We organised a community giving back project with my former club, Our team built one Gerald Estates resident a House which was handed it over in December 2020. The event was graced by different people from the football fraternity, churches, NGOs, government departments and private companies.
