ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

Detail study of the Scope of tender, drawings, schedule equipment’s, specifications, quantity take off and Preparation of Bill of Quantities for Electrical equipments.

Electrical load estimation, design as local standards (medium and low voltage), NEC, National Building code.

Development of single line diagram, electrical equipment selection sizing and protection (Transformer UPS, etc). Cable sizing, bus bar, earthing system according to the load analysis.

Preparing Lighting layouts, power layouts, Load schedule, single line diagram

And the related engineering calculations like panel board circuits and main distribution board circuit breaker size selection etc.

Building security systems, Access control systems, CCTV, Public Addressable systems, Fire Alarm System, Lighting control system, telecommunications, data services, cable tray routing.

Assist the senior discipline engineer to identify, respond to or evaluate technical issues to maintain the schedule.

Designing of Building Lighting control system, telecommunications, data services, cable tray routing.

Accountable for attending meetings with Team/ User for resolving different technical issues at the design stage.

Developing & Designing of Fire and safety system Drawings.

Estimation Tendering and preparing BOQ of Electrical system.

DURING EXECUTION:

Involved in the technical and Management supervision along with site execution and highly driven in various.

All electrical low and Medium Voltage installation works, which were being carried out as per BOQ specifications and material as per standard codes NFPA-70, 72, NEC.

Evaluate engineering proposals, shop drawings and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria and recommend approval or disapproval.

Planning and execution on the electrical side for MEP projects closely monitoring the construction activities, attending weekly meetings at site with other Engineers and Contractor- Maintained weekly status reports.

Review and approval of shop drawings & material submittals submitted by Contractor.

Coordinate with Mechanical, civil, Architect Engineers, Discuss technical aspects of electrical system with Contractor towards successful completion of project.

Coordinate with Contractor for the fast progress work on site implementation of advanced system and material available in market as per the requirement and conduct weekly Site Inspection & prepare Monthly Progress Reports.

Joined as Intern in ENTASK PVT LTD, Bangalore.

Worked as a Junior Electrical Design Engineer in ENTASK PVT LTD, Bangalore.
