I am applying for the position of Senior Manager - Orange County Public Schools as advertised on LinkedIn.com. My most recent relevant professional experience includes serving as Community Center Manager for Orange County Board of County Commissioners/ Community Action Division. Currently, I am responsible for the management, supervision and coordination of multifunctional community centers and programming to provide social services, education and life skills to individuals and families. This includes daily management of community center operations, program operations and delivery of services; ensuring compliance with federal, state and local guidelines; development and cultivation of internal and external community partnerships; coordination - including planning and oversight of facility and community events; facilitation of community meetings and supervision of community center staff & volunteers.

As a supervisor, I am responsible for overall supervision of staff and volunteers including the assignment of work schedules and duties, compilation and submittal of payroll, conducting annual performance reviews and ensuring staff received monitoring and ongoing training as needed. Overall, I possess over 20 years of combined experience in Community/ Education Program Development, Social Services, Facility Operations/ Management and Human/ Volunteer Resources Management fields. In much of my work, I have been responsible for the development of programs and services that included (receiving and/or distribution) of operational and programmatic dollars which included budget projection and grant monitoring and oversight.
