Managed and ensured proper function of all operations in a 365K square foot facility with 125 employees responsible for receiving and processing up to 62M units (books and covers) annually and controlling inventory of 13M units. Responsible for a budget of $8M. Developed and monitored KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators). Negotiated building lease renewals. Oversaw general maintenance of facility regarding safety with particular attention to OSHA requirements. Acted as returns liaison with Publishers, Customer Service, Credit, Sales, Production, clients, key accounts, other distribution team members.

• Personally designed 365K square foot warehouse that housed fulfillment/returns; as well as function as the in-house consultant for other facilities layout and system usage.

• Established and maintained customer service levels of 99.8% accuracy.

Implemented radio frequency (RF) devices for pick/pack/shipping resulting in a 15% savings while increasing productivity and improving accuracy.
